I was pleasanty surprised at the promptness of receiving my order recently. Also, the quality of the suntetsu is outstanding. I appreciated their notification to me of these being back in stock, as I requested. Thanks! J.R.

The Suntetsu is many times viewed as an exotic item rather than what it really is: a highly efficient device for training and self defense. Its use is almost intuitive but it is recommended to get proper instruction from a licensed instructor. Try performing the Karate Kata with a Suntetsu in each hand, and you will have a totally new perspective of the many possibilities that open in front of you.
This particular Suntetsu is of the best quality and the very low price makes it a must for any serious practitioner of martial arts, regardless of style. In our school we use Suntetsu by themselves or in combination with other weapons. I require of my students to always carry one in their belt during class and they have to use it during training, especially when practicing with weapons. I also want to stress out that the Suntetsu is very similar to many household items such as a pen, a screwdriver, etc. so training with a Suntetsu will better prepare you for dire situations.

Wow, I was really impressed with this weapon. They are really well made. The ring fit my hand perfectly, and the edge is cut back a little bit to prevent binding/pinching (though I am a little bit larger than the reviewer above). They also have a washer on the post holding the ring on that keeps everything smooth, even after months of using it. Other ones I've owned don't have this and eventually the flipping and turning grind everything down. Made to last....

I have just ordered my first pair of these they are really cool to use and effective , the steel ones are heavy and hard, won't break. They are very effective for self-defence combats and striking to bony areas or vital areas. I reccomend getting one since they are not sharp that would easily hurt someone and not too large so you can put in your pocket.
But one bad thing is the ring size, its too big one my finger even my thumb has an extra space on it so it is hard to hold. I was wondering if they had smaller sizes or custom make it to fit. I am Chinese Canadian 5'8 tall 150lbs, think these were made to fit Americans. Since the japanese suntetsu would fit asians. Just dissapointed that it didn't fit smoothly on mine and harder to handle. If only I can get them customized to fit mine. Oh well this is a awesome weapon and effective at hitting and blocking.
