If your serious about your martial arts this hard shell case is worth the little extra money that it takes to upgrade from the soft case to this awesome hard-shell. My 19" sai fit just fine. Black alligator skin looking exterior and red felt interior. Very professional. At tournaments people are always asking whats in the case. Very intriguing.
