The design was suprisingly solid. The handle though attractive. Rendered the tool useless. For any practical weapon use. I replaced the cord handle. With several layers of electrical tape. And covered that with shrink tubing. Which produced a solid gripping surface.

Good Weapon, Inadequate Handle

The handles (which are thin) are wrapped with a double layer of some sort of cording. I removed this and replaced it with 15' of one inch wide silicone tape that I will probably further coat with vinyl tool grip dip. With a comfortable handle, the weapon is considerably improved.
