Martial Arts Weapons SwordS Shoto Wakizashi Signature Series. This high quality wakizashi is specifically designed for cutting and advanced drawing practice and has a classical design. The sharpened 21 inch blade is differentially tempered (HRC60 edge, HRC40 back) with a genuine wave hamon. The 6 3/8 inch handle features genuine rayskin with tightly woven cotton wrap, a long tang, and double mekugi for security. The fuchi and kashira feature a family emblem motif. The authentic iron tsuba features a wave design that represents museum-preserved originals and compliments the hamon and brass habaki, while the menuki represent the traditional Japanese Sakura (cherry blossom) flower. The wooden ebony pebble-finished scabbard features a longer retaining cord. Measures 27 5/8 inches overall.
