Martial Arts Clothing Shoes Dicipline High Tops. Constructed of lightweight, breathable mesh overlaid with rugged stress point reinforcement, engineered for support and comfort, and designed to meet the demands of both traditional and progressive fighting systems. Our midcut incorporates a thin layer of rubber reinforcement just forward of the instep, deeply notched at the heel and padded for extra comfort.

Please Note: The High top runs small. Here's how to fit yourself. If you're a solid 9, automatically go up to 9.5. If you're between sizes - sometimes a 9, sometimes a 9.5 - order a 10. This item is being discontinued. Limited quantities available. Order now.

These look different - quite different in a few places - than other Disciplines I have owned. I don't know if these were from a new fabrication, new design, or if they are knock offs. In some ways I like them better than the older versions I've worn. But I wore them to class this weekend and the sole has already peeled away on one foot. I've re-glued it and hopefully that will work, but I was so happy to *find* a pair of these and now that I have them I am concerned they will not last. Thankfully the price was well below what I have paid for them previously (which I admit also makes me question their provenance).

Shipping and Sakura's process were great, though. No complaints with this merchant.
