These sticks are not as dense as the rattan sticks I've trained with in the past, and to be quite honest, I don't even think they're made of real rattan. They bend with almost no effort, and feel super light. It is for this reason that I would recommend buying these for training ONLY. Do not use these in combat, as the lack of weight and extreme flexibility result in a comparatively soft blow.
If I had to go back and do it again, I wouldn't buy these. I'd reconsider if the price was $10 per stick, as that's all they're worth really.
Also, take not that if you DO buy these sticks, don't train with sticks of a different color, as the paint on these comes off very easily.
